When Does “More” Stop Being Enough?

I’ve always believed in living a slightly frugal and purpose-driven life.

Not because I can’t afford more but because I’m not sure where “more” really ends.

There is no finish line when it comes to upgrading.

One car becomes a better car.
One brand becomes a bigger brand.
And just when you think you’ve arrived, the benchmark quietly shifts again.

It never really stops.

At some point, you have to draw a line for yourself. Otherwise, you spend your life chasing upgrades without ever asking what you actually need.

For me, wealth has always had a purpose.

First, to take care of family: Comfort, security, and peace of mind.

Second, to contribute to society in whatever way I can. Not in a grand, visible way, but in small, consistent actions.

And third, to give back because a lot of what we have is not just individual effort. It’s also timing, opportunity, and people who supported us along the way.

Curious how others think about this: At what point do you decide that “this is enough” for you?
